Location: Western New York (In-person travel to customer homes)

Salary: $55,000-$65,000 per year (based on experience)

About the Role

A well-established residential home builder in Western New York is seeking a skilled Service Technician to support post-construction homeowner service requests. This role focuses on completing drywall repairs, paint touch-ups, and other service-related tasks in occupied homes while providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete drywall repairs including nail pops, seams, corner beads, and similar patch work.

• Perform paint touch-ups and surface corrections in customer homes.

• Handle service tasks such as caulking, minor trim and door adjustments, and related repair work.

• Support the production team with punch-out work in homes under construction when service workload allows.

• Maintain professional communication with homeowners, contractors, and internal team members.

• Travel independently to service appointments throughout the Western New York region.

Qualifications

Required:

• Minimum 3 years of construction experience relevant to drywall, paint, trim, or residential service work.

• At least 1 year of customer-facing experience.

• Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and organization skills.

• Professional, patient, and courteous communication style.

• Valid driver's license and dependable personal vehicle (mileage reimbursement provided).

• Ability to safely perform the physical requirements of the role, including lifting, bending, and ladder use.

Preferred:

• Additional residential construction or service experience.

Schedule

• Full-time, 40 hours per week

• Monday-Friday

• Year-round employment
